In Nanterre, outside of Paris, Cheikh Imam and his friends organized three evenings at the Théâtre des Amandiers. These took place April 27th, 28th, and 29th, 1984. This film is a full recording of one of these evenings. Along with his friend and lyricist, the poet Ahmad Fouad Negm, Cheikh Imam was imprisoned for years on end. The edit was never finished.
